Famous Bulgarian mountaineer Boyan Petrov missing in Mt Shishapangma

Famous Bulgarian mountaineers Boyan Petrov aged 45 went missing while attempting Mt Shishapangma (8027m) since 3rd May 2018. A Nepalese and Chinese Rescue team are searching him dead or alive around camp III in Shishapangma

The helicopters are now flying over Shishapangma.
Due to improvement in weather conditions, search operatiom resumed early in the morning

Two Helicopters (AS350 B3e of call signs 9N – ALP and 9N – AJZ ) are searching over Shishapangma with expert Crew members comprise Capt. Siddartha J. Gurung (Pilot), Capt. Surendra Paudel (Pilot), Capt. Ananda Thapa (Pilot), Chhiring Dhenduk Bhote (Rescue Specialist), Mingma Sherpa (Rescue Specialist), Uttam Chaudhary (Technician). 
Due to high wind pressure they had to stay at Nyalam yesterday.
As weather improves, the search operation resumes since early in the morning.
Boyan Petrov (45) went missing since 3rd May from Camp-3 during his summit attempt on Shishapangma. Two helicopters from the rescue agency Simrik Air flew from Kathmandu towards the Base Camp of Shishapangma today in the morning.

He is one of the finest Bulgarian mountaineers climbing over 10 eight-thousanders without oxygen. Boyan went to the peak of Shishapangma on 29th April. On 3rd May, from the Base Camp, he was seen through the telescope at the level of Camp-3. On 5th May, a Ukrainian and three Sherpa climbers found Boyan's semi-open tent with his sleeping bag, full of snow in Camp-3. He certainly made an attempt to get to the top. Boyan has been missing for days now, somewhere along the slope of Shishapangma.
