End of October 2017: This year, our 10-days trekking adventure led us to the hills of Nangi above the famous gorge of Kali Gandaki. This trek is a cultural and natural highlight, off the beaten track and is also known as “community trek”. Every village we passed has its own character and we got a great insight into the rural life of the Magar people. I was impressed about the “No plastic” campaign in this area! Walking through the varied landscape was a pleasure, it might be even more beautiful in spring(blooming period of the Rhododendron). Pradip from Wilderness Excursion suggested us this trek and he hit the nail on the head!! It was a wonderful experience , we learned a lot and together with our guide and porter, Riddhi and Iman we had a lot of fun! They cared well for us. Pradip, a special thank to you for your professional organisation. Whenever I had a question, you had time. It was the second trek you organised for us and there will surely be a next one!
