This fantastic Annapurna Base Camp Trek, takes you to the base of Mt. Annapurna (8091m) which is ranked 10th highest peak in the world and the journey to its base camp is one of the most fascinating treks on earth. There are fewer treks that combine so many different sceneries and bring you so close to the base of 7,000 and 8,000 meter high peaks in such a short period of time as the Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

Like any other treks in the region, Annapurna Base Camp trek also begins from Pokhara, generally known as the "City of Lakes" and city of natural beauty. The trail to Annapurna Base Camp goes through pouring waterfalls, charming villages, terraced rice fields, lush rhododendron forests, and wonderful mountain panoramas before reaching the base of the mighty Annapurna Himalaya. Our 10 days carefully designed Annapurna Base Camp Trek itinerary is intended for those trekkers who would like to trek to the base camp of Annapurna with relaxing time and enough time to get acclimated to avoid getting Acute Mountain Sickens. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek takes 6 to 8 days to get to your dream destination depending on your itinerary and length of walking days. The itinerary offered here is of 10 days package, starting from Nayapul, a one and half hours drive from Pokhara, and going up till Ghorepani to the north and the well-known viewpoint of Poon Hill. From Ghorepani you go eastwards to Chumrung and then north again, entering the Modi Kola Valley up till the Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp at the elevation of 3700 meters from seas level.

Many other trekkers just trek the circuit Nayaul – Ghorepani – Ghandruk – Nayapul or either Continue through Landruk – Tolka – Australian Camp or Dhampus then end the trek at Phedi, This Trek is called Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, which is very rewarding in itself. This trek can easily be done with children as well. In Hinduism, Annapurna is "... the universal and timeless kitchen-goddess ... the mother who feeds. Without her there is starvation and a universal fear. Her most popular shrine is located in Kashi, on the banks of the river Ganga."
