I just finished another fantastic trek with Wilderness Excursions. It is my second trip with them, having completed the Lumbasumba Trek in 2019. I was again impressed with Pradip's skills, professionalism and friendly mindset. Things worked so smoothly. Pradip organized all of the permits within one day. He then had me in a jeep, together with my guide and porter, early on the morning of my second day in Nepal. Pradip gave great advice on what to carry and how much money to bring for a self-supported teahouse trek. I ended up finishing the trek one day early and was able to contact Pradip via WhatsApp and he arranged for the jeep to pick me up ahead of schedule. The guide (Buda) was excellent and had many ideas to help me get off the beaten track (including 3 nights in different Gompas). He really enjoyed being in the mountains himself, seeing the sites and meeting the people. The porter (Upendra) was hard working, friendly and helpful throughout. It felt like the three of us were a team having a trekking experience together. It was great to catch up with everyone in Kathmandu once the trek was over. Wilderness Excursions is a wonderful, local company. You can trust them to get you onto the trail quickly and efficiently. The guides and porters are friendly and helpful and give you great support from the start of the trek to the finish. I recommend them very highly.
