It is known as the place where the Buddha, in a previous life as a prince, gave his body to a hungry tigress and her new born cubs to same them from starvation.

Travel around Balthali Village and Namobuddha for one night 2 days trip outside from busy and hectic Kathmandu to have a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and overnight at stay in Balthali Village Resort. Balthali - located at the junction of the Roshi River and the Ladhku River is the best place to rest and have some best hiking amid rice farm terraces and thatched farmhouses. Escort from your hotel by private transportation and drive to beautiful town of Dhulikhel is 34km, then hike to Namo Buddha where we visit Thrangu Yeshe Monastery and other religious monuments. Namo Buddha is where that Lord Buddha said to have sacrifice his body to a hungry tigress and its cobs in his previous life around 6000 years ago.

We explore around Namo Buddha and after having lunch; we resume the hike through the countryside villages and terraced farms to Balthali – a very beautiful place to spend some relaxing time after the trek.

A short walk of around 1 hour then there will be our car wailing for us at Khopasi, we drive and halt at Panauti – an ancient Newari town. The architectural complex at Panauti is situated in a scenic position at the junction of the sacred confluence of the Roshi Khola and Punyamati Khola. The principal Indresvar Mahadev temple, in traditional Nepalese style, was originally built in A.D. 1294. Other structures include the 17th century Brahmayani temple, other temples, patis, sattals, inscriptions, sculptures and traditional houses. We have some tea breaks at drive to Kathmandu. You will be back to accommodation around 2:00pm and trip ends with Wilderness Excursion.
